Poker Verdict blogger Jeff Israel is a barrister by trade. However, having known him since he was a wee lad, we can testify that the law was not his first love, nor even were Arsenal - his first love was always poker.

In recent years, his wife Natalie and their two kids have come close to stealing the limelight, but poker remains a burning passion. The little time he can find between his burgeoning legal career and his growing family is spent playing poker.

His internet career is starting to prosper playing short-handed tournaments as "Lord Neil". A frequent winner of small- to mid-stakes offline tournaments, we all believe that ranking tournament success shortly beckons.
