He might not remember your name, but if he has ever played with you, he will remember your style of game. That is what is said in Vegas about TJ – one of the most feared poker players on the circuit today.
TJ Cloutier has amassed a rarely equalled six World Series of Poker bracelets. He is the only player ever to win a bracelet for all three kinds of Omaha: Omaha high-low, Omaha high, and Pot Limit Omaha, and won his latest bracelet in the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em in 2005. He is also the player with the highest ever number of final-table finishes in WSOP history – with a staggering 39.
Cloutier is a prolific winner of major tournaments and has won over 50 with buy-ins of $500 or more, including winning the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Tournament at LA's Bicycle Club three years straight (1990, 1991, 1992)! While he has never won the main event at the World Series of Poker his consistency is remarkable and he has placed four times in the top five, including two second-place finishes (1985 and 2000).
In 2006 his best performance was 5th in the new $50,000 H.O.R.S.E event where T.J. trousered $480,000.
