Still only 27, Dutch Boyd is a man of myths and legends and has survived highs and lows which most of us take 40 years to experience.

The myths include attending law school at 12 after being schooled from home up until this point.

He saw poker's potential and set up an online site, pokerspot, that vanished from the net with many players losing money.

Poker was still dominated by elderly Texans like Doyle, TJ and Amarillo Slim when the crew crashed their party at the WSOP '04. Dutch cashed four times, while Scott Fischman won two bracelets and cashed in two other events, and Brett Jungblut won one and cashed five times.

Dutch could have beaten one of the old school TJ Cloutier in the Razz final but ego or too much partying seemed to have clouded his mensa brain during the final.

Dutch finally won his bracelet in 2006 in short handed NLHE. That was the high.

The lows include accidently drowning his girlfriends kitten, drinking his own urine during an interview and throwing another players ipod into the lake in front of the Bellagio.

I am happy to report Dutch seems to be mentally sound and is behaving impeccably during the Wynn classic where he has cashed twice.

Dutch plays online at Full Tilt under the name Dutchalicious.
