November 2007 will always be seen as a great month for online sensation Russell Carson, aka “rdcrsn” or “heyfreddy” on Full Tilt, who final tabled one of the most prestigious online events, the Full Tilt Online Poker Series event #13 - a tournament with a $2500 buy in. rdcrsn ended up coming 4th, good for $148,325, quite a score by anyone’s definition.Russell Carson is not just a one trick pony. He is clearly one of the best online MTT players out there. rdcrsn has winnings of more than $700,000 on PokerStars, more than $180,000 on UltimateBet, and more than $250,000 on FullTilt. rdcrsn has a staggering fourteen five figure cashes in his career, including three above $30,000. rdcrsn has also won the PocketFives triple crown - always the hallmark of a great online tournament pro.
Perhaps the most prestigious and profitable of rdcrsn’s five figure cashes has been a win in the $200 rebuy on PokerStars, arguably one of the most difficult tournaments on the net. rdcrsn outlasted 190 other top players to take down $40,320 in five hours and fourteen minutes, working out at a rate of pay of just more than $128 a minute.
Yet to make a sizeable impact in live events (although rdcrsn has cashed for over $17,000 in live performances), Russell Carson is definitely a player to watch out for. Employing a tight aggressive style and a chameleon like ability to change gears, you better watch out if you see “rdcrsn” sitting at any of your tables.
