Winner of the biggest regular online tournament, the PokerStars Sunday Million, online poker sensation Yevgeniy “Jovial Gent” Timoshenko is having a great year so far.

His greatest achievement to date is clearly beating online pro apestyles heads-up to win just over $250,000 in the Sunday Million. He must also forever be in love with Q-10, for after raising and calling a re-raise from apestyles pre-flop, he proceeded to crack apestyles KK on a Q-10-3 board in a pot effectively worth $115,000 (second place received $135,000 and they were both equal in chips).

Yevgeniy is clearly not a one hit wonder either - he has won the PokerStars daily $100 rebuy for over $30,000; won the PokerStars Sunday $200 rebuy for over $60,000; and got another sick result in the Star’s Million - finishing fifth for $59,000. Any complaints of rigged accounts on PokerStars should quickly be directed towards Yevgeniy.

He also has a variety of other deep finishes in all the other major tourneys on the web. A final table in the FullTilt 1k Monday for $14,000; A win in the Bodog Sunday 100k Guaranteed for $25,000; and a fifth in the UltimateBet Sunday $200k for $11,000.

This is obviously one serious player - many people would consider themselves lucky to make the final table of the Sunday Million once in their lives - let alone twice. Known as “atimos” on PocketFives.com he is currently ranked ninth in the world.
