Player Update: eisenhower1

He’s Sweden’s #1 MTT player, he’s continues to crush the high stakes tournaments across all sites & he’s still anonymous – we can only be talking about eisenhower1.

Though there a lot of ‘unknown’ quality players in the country, eisenhower1 trumps them all for sheer consistency and volume of large cashing. Since we last profiled him in August ’08, he has continued his relentless assault on the online rankings and looks set to be a feature at the top of the leader boards for many months to come.

The Swede had a highly successful WCOOP & FTOPS series at the end of last year, making 3 final tables for a combined prize of over $120,000. On August 14th he cam in 5th in FTOPS Event #17 ($300 Re-Buys, $63,998) on an incredibly tough final table which included the likes of Kevin ‘GetPWN3D’ Saul & Luke ‘IWEARGOGGLES’ Staudenmaier. He then cashed for $19,296 in the WCOOP 2nd Chance $300 Re-Buys event for finishing 4th, and in November again final tabled exactly the same event at the FTOPS (!), this time finishing 6th for $38,423. Eisenhower has a number of other huge recent scores, including victory in the Turbo $30k GTD ($18,750), the Full Tilt $80k GTD ($150 Re-Buys) for $61,200 & the Titan $50k High Roller Monday for $15,120 – the latter two were achieved within 6 days of each other in November.

And on 28th January ’09 he continued his sick run by taking down the Absolute Poker $100k GTD for a further $41,605.

(I am a big fan.)”. Also one of the key players of ‘Team Sweden’, who compromise some of the country’s (and worlds) best MTT players, eisenhower1 is without doubt a phenomenal tournament pro.
