When Bo Sehlstedt aka “Legato” (right) won over $130k by winning the PokerStars Sunday Million it wasn’t entirely unexpected.

The amiable Swede has been burning up the internet’s highest stakes multi-table tournaments (MTTs) for a couple of years now, although victory in the Sunday Million was his biggest to date.

So far he has made over $300k from MTTs but is also a formidable cash game player who has started playing a lot of live poker too. He has played events in the WSOP, on the WPT and the EPT too. He was runner up in the Ladbrokes Scandinavian Poker Championships last summer (good for $36k), 4th in the Swedish Open ($37k) and then cashed in the WSOP main event to the tune of another $35k.

He was also set to finish very deep in the WPT Championship event in April 2005, but with 18 players left, he was unfortunate enough to lose a 2 million chip pot, all in pre-flop with K-K versus Tuan Lee’s 9-9, although still managed to walk away from that event with over $75k.

The former professional blackjack player is now said to spend up to 10 hours a day playing on the internet, often playing six to eight Sit n Gos consecutively, with buy-ins ranging from $200 to $1,000.

If you meet him in next weekend’s PokerStars Sunday Million be sure to pay him some respect.
