The Cash Games.

The weekend belonged to David Benyamine, who made over $700,000 in only six or so hours of play on the $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha tables on friday night. This is probably the fastest and largest amount of money ever made in the six max games - it will be interesting to see if such a feet can ever be repeated.

Alahi “Ziigmund” Sahamies also had a good weekend, and is starting to pull back from the nearly two million dollar downswing that he had been having this year. After a $250k weekend he is up just over a million for this month.

Tom “durrr” Dwan had a $500k swing, losing nearly a quarter of a million to Ziigmund playing $300/$600 HA (a rotating mix of pot limit hold’em and pot limit Omaha, with ten hands of each), only to come back and win over $300k on Sunday on the six max Omaha tables. He added to this with a not insignificant $300k win last night - ending the bank holiday weekend with a profit of over $400,000.

The big loser was Eric Lieu, who continued his massive losing streak, dropping over $350k, and claiming in his blog here that his Full Tilt account is nearly busted. It would be a shame to see Eric drop out of the big games - he has been a consistent winner for many years now and plays an action packed and interesting game. Hopefully he can take a leaf out of Ziigmund’s book and start on the long road to recovery.
