Chad Batista dominates

No tournament is safe from this online legend

By Philip Tuck

Chad “lilholdem” Batista has been on a sick run the last few days, and seems to be winning just about everything he enters. He started off taking down the PokerStars $100 rebuy on Sunday, good for $42,975; only to follow it up the next day by taking down the PokerStars $100 freezeout, which carried a $59k prize pool and a massive $12,857 first prize. Not content with well over fifty thousand dollars for two days work, the same night Chad also went on to place second in the FullTilt $30,000 guaranteed, which was worth $5,115.

Quite what makes Chad such a good player is unclear. He certainly has some great poker instincts, and seems to play with his gut more than anything else, making sick calls and bluffs in very marginal spots. Whatever it is, his hyper aggressive style has led him to win basically every of the major tournaments on the net, and he continues to dominate in the most astonishing fashion.

Odds of a Chad winning a WSOP bracelet in the next couple of years Neil?
