The cash games.
The action was relatively slow this weekend, probably due to the EPT Monte Carlo, although there was still some great high stakes play going on. The big winner was Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond, who has won over $600,000 playing predominantly $300/$600 heads up hold'em. The big losers in these games were "present" and Alahi "Ziigmund" Sahamies, both of whom lost over $200,000.
Over in the big PLO game, David Benyamine has been taking a beating, and over the course of two marathon weekend sessions has lost close to $400,000. The two big winners (and mainly at the expense of Benyamine) were Markus Golser ( $250,000) and "Pekay" ( $350,000).
Hopefully once the EPT is over a few more of the big name players will be back. These games certainly missed the catalyst of Gus Hansen over the weekend - the sooner he returns the better.
