Again, this week the high stakes action was very slow due to the world series. There has obviously been a lot of big games running in Bobby's room, with Brian Townsend giving some great examples of some of the hands being played there in his blog here. This is not to say that there have been no big games, just that the games that have been running tend to have been a little smaller and between relatively unknown players. With most pros playing a constant tournament schedule or firmly in residence in Bobby's room, the online action is running well below its usual standards. Hopefully some of the up and coming players will take this as an opportunity to take a few shots at the higher limits, as the high stakes games are definitely in need of some new blood.
