The WSOP dents the action a little, but there are still some massive swings

The Full Tilt cash games.

Due to the WSOP starting in full force, the cash action was sporadic, but at times good. It is obvious that most players are sitting down in the online games during any breaks they have, and as a result the action is usually quick and inconsistent. Players also have been seeming to buy in for less, and as a result the average pots seem to have been smaller than usual.

With the games running so short, it is difficult for any really deep stacked action. Hopefully we can see a few of the big pros bust out of events at similar times and sit down for some big heads up or short handed matches. One thing is for sure though, the WSOP certainly changes the character of the big online cash games, and with so much action going on in the live games, a noticeable drop in the online scene is to be expected.
