Marathon Cash Game Gets Underway

Tony G and Thomas "Buzzer" Bihl are the money leaders in one of the biggest cash games to be held in London this year...

One of the biggest cash games to be played in London this year is currently taking place in East London's Poker Den.

The PartyPoker Poker Den: The Big Game II' is a continuous 24-hour cash game that will be broadcast on network television around the world next year.

Dave “The Devilfish” Ulliott, Tony G, Roland De Wolfe, Brian Townsend (aka "sbrugby" online), Jamie Gold, Thomas Bihl, Todd Brunson, Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson, Robert Williamson III, Max Pescatori, Kirk Morrison, Hoyt Corkins, Pamela Brunson, Kasey Thompson, Ian Frazer, Roy Brindley, Ian Woodley, Anthony Hardy, Poker Verdict's Neil Channing, Dave Gregory and Phil Curtis have all bought in so far.

A PartyPoker spokesman said: “The blinds started at $50/$100 but it took ten minutes for the first $20,000 pot to be won. The stakes keep going up and up! Tony G and Thomas "Buzzer" Bihl look like the big winners so far. The style of play has been super aggressive and Hoyt Corkins hasn’t even been added to the mix yet.”

The majority of the players started with $20,000 and all participants are free to leave the table at any time they want. The Tournament Director takes a flexible approach to structure, however, dependent on a consensus between the players. The first Poker Den was UK television’s first 24 hour cash game

PartyPoker Poker Den: The Big Game II is organized by Matchroom Sport. Jesse May will lead the commentary and a selection of the pros will join him throughout.
