By Simon Hopper 30th April 2008

Since its inception, the Poker Verdict red shirt has been brought fortune to all that have bestowed it.

So much so that the live tournament winnings earnt from PV players in red is nearing the £1million mark.

After Neil Channing's 2nd place finish at the PartyPoker World Open IV (for over £50,000), the figure currently stands at a remarkable £967,829.

Who will be the player to break the million pound barrier?

With the likes of Neil Channing, Nik Persaud, Tony Phillips, Ken Wong, David Gross & Warren Wooldridge heading out to Las Vegas for the 2008 WSOP, one thing is for sure: the seven figure mark could well be reached in the Nevada desert this summer.

Mr. Channing must take much of the credit for this amazing total. His Irish Open victory for £628,853 (at current exahange rates) catapulted the PV team to within touching distance of the magic amount.

With badbeat and Persaud in such hot form, and with the Vegas record of Wooldridge & Gross, whose your money on to win the race?
