Tyler is pleased to see a turn which he check raises all in over Perez' 50k bet. Perez has the nut straight with and Tyler cannot make a full house on the raggy river with his two pair and finishes 12th.

21:06

Johannes Strassmann and Mike McDonald are yielding their big stacks mercilessly and poor old Danny Ryan to their left has barely seen a flop. But the moment he re-raises the German, Johannes re-re raises him. Danny is forced to lay down his Ace-Queen but is still smiling. I wouldn't be.

20:47

Tyler Friederich doubles up his 100k stack when pushing with and finds a caller in Torsten Haase with . The flop takes care of itself and we remain on 11 players. The top ten recieve €52,200 so no-one wants to be the next out.

20:35

Danny Ryan shoves it in with his and is called by Dan Carter's . Danny smiles accepting an exit until the board comes out like this... leaving Danny needing an ace or four. The big stacks tussle. Johannes Strassmann makes it 18k to go. Mike McDonald, smelling weakness, comes over the top with 50k. Johannes stares him out before saying "I have to at least call". He calls.

Checked to the river on a board of McDonald makes a value bet of 55k with which is paid off by the German with . Nice little pot for the Canadian before he heads off for some munch at the dinner break.

18:51

It was Andreas Gulunay not Aniol who made that outrageous five-three move. Apologies.

18:40

PokerStars qualifier Christian Harder doubles up with over to move up to around 150k. But with the relentless blinds and antes he'll need to do more of the same to stick around for the final eight.

Daniel Carter makes it 15k to go before Aniol Alcaraz comes over the top with 35k more. Carter mucks before the Spaniard shows . The cheek of it.

18:31

Milanov raises to 25k pre-flop leaving himself around 25k. McDonald puts him all in and he instacalls. McDonald has and Milanov . The flop, gives them both runner runner hope. McDonald smells trouble on the turn and Milanov doubles up in unexpected fashion on the river.

Aniol Alcaraz and Alexandar Milanov split a large pot after they turn over and respectivley after a Milanov all-in. Rinaldi and McDonald - who apparently has a big online reputation - are also tussling with uncalled raises and re-raises.

Down to 16 players and the tables are being re-drawn - after only 7 hands of the current TV table.

Just 18 left by the first break - whirwind poker.

Alexander Milanov doubles up his 50k stack from Mike McDonald after the Russians held up to the Candian's . McDonald, despite looking like a college recluse, has played a fearless tight-aggressive game so far but he'll be on the TV table after the interval - let's see how he copes with the slick German announcer breathing down his neck every hand.

On a flop of Heitman pushes for 143k. A very troubled Haase, holding approximately 200k, finally calls with and is amazed to see Heitman holding . Heitman does not catch his overcard and is 19th for €17,400.

Danny "THE_D_RY" Ryan bounces over to me to tell me he has caught for the first time in three days and was check raised all in by the big blind with . He is very pleased to have doubled up.

17:03

Christopher Rossiter raises to 20k UTG. Dan Carter re-raises all in from the cut off. Marcel Cesarz calls all in, as does Christopher.

Christopher shows , Dan and Marcel . Dan takes out both players when his aces hold perfectly and is now sitting with a big grin on his face.

16:49

After being rivered out of most of his stack a moment ago, Marcel Luske pushes his last 28k with and Johannes Strassmann sees it with . An on the flop and the Flying Dutchman is out of the running. Still dressed immaculatly and exits the stage with the upmost dignity. Legend.

Elsewhere, big pot with Marco Liesy and Diego Perez. On Liesy bets 28,500, which is flat called by the Spaniard. Marco checks the turn but Diego carries on for 45k. After much thought the German calls but they were all betted out and the river was checked. Diego shows and Liesy frustratedly mucks, possibly with an Ace given the action.

TV feed finally established in the press room, but the camera crews have chucked all bloggers out of the inner circle for table access. Possible mutiny is in the air.

16:28

Syikrai Istafan bets 15k of 34k stack UTG, is re-raised to 30k by the button, Aniol Alcaraz. The small blind, Michael McDonald, calls 30k. Istafan shoves all-in for 4k more to the big stacks who both call and see a flop of .

A side pot is immediately formed as McDonald's 25k bet is called by Alcaraz. On the turn McDonald bets out 40k, and is again called. On the river, McDonald makes it 70k and is again called. He shows for the rivered full house and Alcarez mucks in anger (likely with aces/kings, judging by the amount of action). The original raising short stack, Istafen, shows meaning the pot is all McDonald's... and a quick calculation puts this pot at around 400k. W o w.

Istafen is another to win €12,650.

The TV crews seem to have some sort of territory marked out around the tables that us mere mortals cannot enter. Money talks.

Due to a rather territorial TV crew today, the updates crew are struggling a little to get in close to the action. Apparantly the bloggers are not as high in ranking as camermen so we must follow their instructions. The pyramid of capitalism theory, we think...

MADNESS unfolds in the first 10 minutes of Day 3.

1) On the feature table, Andreas Gülünay gets it all in with and receives an unexpected and unwanted call from Brandon Schaefer with . When the board comes down Schaefer can only laugh as a huge portion of his stack is passed away to the straight. Again Brandon sees an unexpected outcome on a flop when a destroyed Schaefer shoves his remaining chips in with . When he is called by (only just) shorter stack Jioí Kulhánek with . Kulhanek turns a to double up. Schaefer is forced to move in with an inconsequential hand and exits for €12,650.

2) Steve Jelinek doubles up Andreas Sarling, when his push is called by his fellow short stack's . Andreas flops a and doubles up leaving Jelinek desperate. Jelinek throws in his last hope with to be called by and see a straight form on the board. Jelinek also cashes for €12,650.

3) Manfred Bass runs his into Michael McDonald's and is another early exit to cash for €12,650 today.
