00:02: As the night draws to a close and we begin to yawn, 37 remain (many are short stacks, we expect a massacre at the start of Level 10 tomorrow) and the only really interesting pot to report from the dying hours of Level 9 is Dave Barnes pushing over the top of Novak for 23k more (pot was also around 23k) on a board of . Novak folded after a little confrontation with a loud player at the table talking to him whilst he was trying to think. We'll see you tomorrow at 1.30pm for Day 2 of the GUKPT Grand Final. Good night!

22:33: Flood wins a 20k pot pre-flop. His original middle position raise to 3500 was made 13500 by Vinson on the button. Flood pushed all in for 29125 more and Vinson couldn't bring himself to do it. Nice pot. Aces vs queens maybe?
