PokerStars are currently offering a first time deposit for new players. From now until the end of 2007, if you make your first-ever real money deposit, PokerStars will give you a 100% bonus up to $50. This bonus will be released after you have played a set number of hands.

PokerStars do one of the best Frequent Player Points ("FPPs") promotions on the net. For each qualifying raked real money poker hand you play on PokerStars, you earn FPPs. Every time you play real money multi-table tournament that has a tournament fee, you earn FPPs. Every time you play a Sit & Go tournament that include a tournament fee, you earn FPPs.

With your FPPs you can win seats in live events such as the WSOP, EPT or WPT. You can also use your FPPs to enter into satellites to win seats into Stars’ bigger tournaments which have buy-ins of $200 and upwards.

FPPs can also be used at Stars’ FPP store to purchase items such as clothing, poker accessories (chip sets etc), poker books, electronics (plasma screen tvs, ipods, digital cameras, DVD players) and gift certificates for stores like Neiman Marcus and Amazon.com.

This is an extension of their existing Frequent Player Point program in which the more hours and hands you rack up each month you earn SilverStar, GoldStar and PlatinumStar status right through to their elite status of Supernova.
